Committee meetings are open to the general public and are typically held on Wednesdays during the course of a Regular Session. The House Ways and Means Education Committee usually meets in Room 617 in the Alabama State House and the House Education Policy Committee usually meets in Room 602. The Senate Finance and Taxation Education Fund Committee and the Senate Education Committee usually meet in Room 727 in the Alabama State House.
