Yesenia Ortiz Acosta (born 1975) is a Puerto Rican woman who became famous across the island after her disappearance, which occurred in Guayama, Puerto Rico, early in 1999, leading to one of the widest media searches in Puerto Rico during the 1990s. Ortiz Acosta met a policeman named Eddie Samir Rodriguez when she was a teenager. Eventually the two of them got married and had children.
