Where Did Tinkerbell Come From?
As long ago as 1904 Tinker Bell originated in the mind of J.M. Barrie (Sir James Matthew Barrie) and first arose in his stage play “Peter and Wendy”. She was then given her longevity through his 1911 novel of “Peter Pan” to the delight of children everywhere. Walt Disney’s animated feature of Peter Pan has become one of the world’s most cherished films, bringing the heartwarming story of Neverland, the Lost Boys, Peter and of course our Tink into our hearts forever.
