As long ago as 1904 Tinker Bell originated in the mind of J.M. Barrie (Sir James Matthew Barrie) and first arose in his stage play “Peter and Wendy”. She was then given her longevity through his 1911 novel of “Peter Pan” to the delight of children everywhere.
