Rasmussen is, in my opinion the most accurate and non-biased poll available. That’s where I get my numbers. I think they’re all biased…only 1% of the people I know even like Obama, 0% approve of his job. Rasmussen has him holding steady around 56%, but the more interesting number to watch is the index. Currently it’s at +5, they take the difference between those who strongly approve 36% and those who strongly disapprove 31% and provide a handy little index. Gallup is perhaps the most biased and undependable of them, their sampling methods are well known to be flawed. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll Zogby is good, but they don’t obsess over Obama like the other polls do.

Yeah, I wasn’t questioning whether Gallup’s poll numbers were accurate, or even realistic – but the editorial specifically mentioned Gallup, which is why I questioned it when the numbers on their site aren’t the ones listed in the article. Maybe they just put the wrong polling site by accident.
