Where did the worlds first cities arise?
Genesis 4:17 states that Cain builded a city, and called the name of the city after his son, Enoch. This does not tell us where the first city was built does it? We must remember that at the time of Adam and his family all land was in one place, in the northern part of the world. In chapter 10 it tells us that the earth was devided into its various nations or countries. So where did Cain build his city? It is sugested that his city was in the land which is now North America. Do not poo par this sugestion, remember the land was all in one place for a many many years and North America did not exist, only The Earth existed.
