Where did the Ships for Victory images come from?
The images featured on this Web site are part of the J.A. Jones Construction Company collection housed in the Special Collections of the Brunswick-Glynn County Library. The collection consists of photographs, ephemera, a clipping file, videotaped oral history interviews, and issues of the Brunswick Mariner. The items in the collection were donated by individuals associated with the J.A. Jones Construction Company. In the 1990s, the son of Emil Kratt, J.A. Jones Construction’s general manager, donated a substantial group of materials.
