The Puritans landed in Plymouth and is now present day Massachusetts. That is a bad ans. The Puritans landed at Shawmut, the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth in 1620 and the Puritans in 1630. They were not the same group of people. The Pilgrims had the right to land in the Va. settlement that went up to, I think Hudson River. The Pilgrims did not hit the right place but the Puritans came in to Boston(Shawmut) as they planned.
