Where did the Page-a-Day® Calendar originate?
Workman, in fact, invented the Page-a-Day® Calendar, which is why you see this “®” symbol on our product and throughout our communication. The first Page-a-Day® Calendars were announced in the spring of 1979 365 New Words-a-Year, 365 Jokes, Puns and Riddles, and 365 Women. Two of those titles Words and Jokes are still being published today. Along the way Workman pioneered Page-a-Day Calendars with pictures first black and white, and then color Page-a-Day® Calendars for kids, Page-a-Day® Horoscope Calendars, Page-a-Day Stickies Calendars (with pages that stick), Page-a-Day® Perpetuals, and the Page-a-Day® Online Calendar. Of course today many companies publish boxed, padded calendars, but we re still the original, and we re the only ones offering Online Calendars!
