Where did the nickname “Beanie” come from?
It’s from my older brother. I was a skinny kid with a big head, and he called me “Beanie” and it stuck. Q: Who did you look up to growing up? A: I have many influences. I like Michael Jordan because he was a superior athlete with dominating talent and leadership, and just his presence as a whole just shows a lot regarding his character. He always had what it took to be a great athlete. Q: Would you have enjoyed playing one-on-one against Jordan during his prime? A: I definitely would, but I don’t think I’d be able to do anything against a player like that.
