Where did the Neolithic Revolution originate? ?

0

Historians, Archaeologists and Anthropologists have yet to agree on where the Neolithic Revolution originated. Many remain convinced that the earliest evidence of the tools and techniques pointing to the shift from a nomadic existing based on hunting and gathering to agriculture, permanent settlements and, eventually, the development of cities can be found in the Fertile Crescent (the Tigris and Euphrates river valleys in Iraq. Others believe the changes first appeared in Asia Minor (Turkey) and spread through western Asia from there. Still others believe it started in Africa. I tend to believe that the Neolithic Revolution arose in many places at around the same time. The answer really depends on who is asking the question and who is answering. I would go with the Fertile Crescent Answer if this is a school assignment and mention competing points of view.
