Where did the lack of trust in God begin?
Lucifer, who became Satan, started the lack of trust in God. (Isa 14:12-14 TLB) How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground–mighty though you were against the nations of the world. {13} For you said to yourself, “I will ascend to heaven and rule the angels. I will take the highest throne. I will preside on the Mount of Assembly far away in the north. {14} I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.” Lucifer stopped trusting in God and started trusting in himself and his own power. He decided for himself that he knew more than God, had more power than God, and he should be the one ruling in heaven and on the earth. He decided to become his own god. When Lucifer rebelled against God, he deceived a third of the angels in heaven to come with him. (Rev 12:4 KJV) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven (reference to angels), and did cast them to the earth (Rev 12:9 AMP) And the huge dragon was cast down
