Where did the idea for the Beep Beep Tree come from?
One night, Malou was fast asleep, and was literally woken up from a deep sleep by the words “Beep Beep Tree” popping into her dreams! So, she quickly woke up, scribbled down the idea and went straight back to sleep again. Malou drew it up at 6.00am the next morning. The initial drawings of the Beep Beep Tree were based on a Mimosa sapling that randomly sprang out of the ground and snapped open its branches like a fan, and then, just as suddenly as the tree popped up, it snapped it’s branches closed and popped off again.
