where did snakehead fish were walking out ?
According to The Boston Globe, State biologists got a rude surprise when they pulled their nets from a Shrewsbury pond last October during a routine sampling mission: a voracious, land-walking fish whose aggressive habits raise fears that it could wipe out the fish population of entire lakes. The northern snakehead, a native of Asia, is such a feared predator that the Bush administration on Monday said it plans to ban imports of the fish, which can survive out of water for up to three days. The snakehead in Newton Pond was quickly pickled. It now sits on a Harvard museum shelf. Sources: http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1P2-7726517.
