Where did Redbridge in Bloom originate from?
Answer ‘Britain in Bloom’ which was initiated by the British Tourist Board in 1963. Following the success of `Britain in Bloom’ London in Bloom was introduced by the London Tourist Board in 1967. Now all London boroughs take part in the competition which aims to promote floriculture and horticulture for the benefit of the public and to encourage ecological, sustainable and natural resource conservation.
