Where did MATTER come from?
The Big Bang theory of the origin of the universe provides an explanation for the origins of matter. Einstein provided us with the famous equation: – E = mc² Which equates mass and energy as the same or mass-energy. Thus, matter may condense out of pure energy and this phenomena is routinely observed during particle accelerator experiments, where two particles collide head on and then create a photon of pure energy, which then decays into a shower of elementary particles. Hence, the initial energy of the Big Bang, origin of the universe, condensed into the earliest and most elementary forms of matter and antimatter! ‘…The earliest phases of the Big Bang are subject to much speculation.
