Where did father christmas originate from?
Father Christmas originated in England and had a long red coat and a black beard and was a pagan figure. St. Nicholas the giver of presents originated in Turkey and travelled to Scandinavia and became Sinta Claus. The two were eventually combined by the europeans particularly the English and Santa Claus was created. Then as usual the americans, in particularly coka cola got involved and created the rediculous figure we see today.
