Where did Canadas national debt come from?
Canada`s debt came from government over spending.I do not know all long Canada has been in debt.I think it dates back to the 2nd world war.Deficits can acur when government revenues fall.Recessions cause government to go in debt .Government revenues fall and spending increases do to the negative growth.It is hard to plan a balanced budget when revenues decrease over the year.
