Where did Bioceramics come from?
Bioceramics was originated in Asia from the armaments industry, and it is composed of Alumina, Silica, magnesium oxide, etc. It was used with the addition of iron based compounds in dyes to paint missiles and planes in order to avoid detection by radars, because radar waves, upon colliding against walls, came back in a diffused manner, making it impossible to identify the object. This ceramic was incorporated into hooded clothes for the soldiers not to be detected at night by the infrared devices. With its use, the soldiers reported an improvement in pain and blood circulation. This material started to be used in aesthetics, showing major results in the health area, as if they were mystical results, until research was initiated on the interactions of the infrared light with the cellular physiology.
