Where did “1420” (in Hurtin Crue) come from?
In Milo’s words again: 1420 was my best friend Rodger’s SAT score in high school. He wanted to go to West Point, so he had to do real well. The day after he heard his score, he paraded around school wearing an Army helmet with “1420” stenciled across the front. He also wrote a mini-song, “1420, I am better than you, etc… Since I got a lower score than him and was jealous, I figured I’d just steal his song, and put it into “Hurtin’ Crue.
