Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009 was organised on 5th April in India , Miss India is an annual, national beauty pageant held in India and organized by Femina, a women’s magazine . Pooja Chopra (23) wins Miss India World title 09 while Ekta Chaudhary is Miss India Universe 09 and Shriya Kishore is Miss India Earth ‘09. Pooja Chopra, the newly crowned Miss India World can’t stop counting her blessings and thanking the ones who made her fairytale come true. Gushing with pride, the 23-year-old lissome beauty, thanked her mother with tearful eyes as she gracefully carried the much-eyed tiara. The new beauties were crowned by last year’s title holders, PFMI World 2008 and Miss World first runner-up Parvathy Omanakuttan, PFMI Universe 2008 Simran Kaur Mundi and PFMI Earth 2008 Tanvi Vyas. Bollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Genelia D’Souza stole the event with their wonderful stage performance. Malaika Arora Khan and actor R. Madhavan hosted the event.
