Where can you live in England where theres a lot of music and soccer?
Because the UK is so small you are never far from either, but of course, London has several top soccer clubs and the best music venues in the world. Manchester has an excellent reputation for both music and – of course – soccer! Both these cities also have top universities. Be aware though, that neither is cheap any more! Tickets are rarely obtainable at face value, so expect to pay anything up to £100 or even more for a top concert or soccer match – not easy on a student budget! Of course, bands play in much smaller venues throughout the country too, and the average price for seeing a pretty good band in a smaller club is about £15. And public transport is easily available between cities for special events. Enjoy your stay.
