Where can you get sodium silicate to fix a blown headgasket?

I’d just buy one of the head gasket sealer products sold in auto parts stores. They’re made with sodium silicate as their primary ingredient, but are specially made with other ingredients mixed in to improve performance in this application. Maybe there’s no difference, but I’d trust one of those more than plain sodium silicate.
