Where can you get American sized clothes in Bangkok department stores?
Bob is right about MBK – its the floor with the food court – the floor above the furniture floor and underneath the movie theatre floor. The shops that I think he is referring to are near the exit to the food court – near where you go to reconvert unused food coupons back to cash – as you walk from there to the escalator. At least one shop there sells really really big shirts. Put it this way, I was watching a documentary recently about a 30 stone teenager in the US (wow) – he could probably get shirts to fit there. In the market area on that floor there are also some stalls that sell shirts but the biggest I have seen is an Asian XXL which isn’t the same as a US XXL, its a lot smaller – maybe a US L or borderline XL . I’ve seen some Ralph Lauren ‘seconds’ on that floor in the market area. Another place to try is a shop in Soi Rang nam (technically the name of the road is Tannon Ragnam but really its a soi and most people call it soi Rang nam). You can get the BTS to Victory Monument,
