If the Adam Lambert Mad World performance was understated on tonight’s American Idol finale, Adam’s second song was the dead opposite. Singing the “producers choice” of A Change is Gonna Come, Adam showed off his impeccable vocal ability, complete with lots of pitch perfect high notes. And the judges loved it. Randy said to Adam that “You can sing your face off that was unbelievable.” Kara went for “a great combination of high notes and emotion…using both sided of yourself.” Paula added “The best that I’ve heard..
