Where can you find welding jobs?
Get into a Building Trades apprenticeship program like pipefitters (which is what I did and I think is best), boilermakers, ironworkers or sheetmetal workers. You might not be welding immediately but you’ll learn tons of other skills related to the trade you choose. You don’t want to be just a welder. Well-rounded mechanics usually are the last to be layed off.
