Where can you buy vegetarian meat substitutes in the Philippines?
Since there is a growing number of vegetarians in the Philippines, vegetarian meat is becoming more common, mostly seen in upper class groceries like S&R, Rustan’s, etc. It costs a little expensive though, almost amounting to 1,000 pesos a pack. An effective substitute for meat though is mushrooms, when cooked effectively. There is also the options of soy protein and gluten sold in Daily Veggies, somewhere along Banawe. I hope this helps.
