Where can students get help with computer software questions?
A. The campus Call Center can be contacted via e-mail or by telephone for help with campus-supported software. The Call Center is staffed by students during day and evening hours. The Call Center staff does not support personal software that is installed on student machines. Q. How are student-owned PCs serviced? A. Students are responsible for the maintenance of their own computers once they are brought to campus. Difficulties which indicate a possible problem with the campus network should be reported to the Call Center. Information Systems staff will attempt to determine the source of the problem; if it is the campus network, the staff will work with the student to resolve the issue. Otherwise, the student will need to contact their equipment vendor or another provider of services to correct the problem. Q. Are there fees associated with using computers on campus? A.
