An approved tutor list is available from the Division of English as an International Language (3070 Foreign Languages Building). SPEAK tutors must have training in pronunciation and TESL methodology and must be approved by the Center for Teaching Excellence. Practicing oral English skills with U.S. colleagues may be a helpful exercise, but it does not meet the tutoring requirement to retake the SPEAK Test.
