She must contact her employer for her 2007 W2 information, IRS will not have them available until late July or August. You can request a copy of your original tax return for $39.00 which includes the w-2’s, but does take up to 60 days to receive the copy. IRS also provide “Return Transcript” for free and it is a line by line transcript of what was filed on your tax return. All schools, banks or any loan place accept the transcript as proof of income. The employees at the local IRS office will print out while you wait. Visit your local IRS office for the Transcript or download Form 4506-T and mail to appropriate area IRS will send the transcript in 10-17 or more days.
