Where can I use Beilstein/Gmelin in the Library?

• The CrossFire Beilstein/Gmelin software is available on all computers in the Main (Andersonian) Library (except the small number of visitor PCs which are non-password controlled). You can install the software on your own PC or Mac. • Go to http://xfire.mimas.ac.uk/start/ and select ‘Strathclyde, University of’ from the drop-down menu. Login with your DS username/password (see the Library’s Crossfire Beilstein and Gmelin Service web page for password and further information). Click on the ‘here’ link to start Commander and then choose Run. • Guides and training materials are available if you go to the MIMAS home page. Select ‘CrossFire’ from the drop-down menu, and at the CrossFire homepage, click on the ‘Documentation’ link in the left-hand column (although note that currently most documentation is not specific to the latest version 7).
