Depending on the time of year, a limited range of accommodation options is available on the UBC campus. While the on-campus option allows quick access to workshop venues, dining and entertainment options are somewhat limited. Affordable accommodation is available in the vicinity of Vancouver airport (approx. 20 minutes by taxi from UBC), while downtown Vancouver offers a wide range of options ranging from moderate to luxury class (approx. 30 minutes by car or 45 minutes by public bus).
