Where can I sign my 3 year old cousin up for modeling or commercials for toddlers?
I worked at a place in LA, and Mario Lopez was to be there to sign kids up at this Modeling Talent Agency. They got him on Saved By The Bell. My job was to take the applicants numbers, and call them to set up appointments to come in and talk to “Casting Agents”. The deal was, these “Agents” would judge your child, B U T…You ALWAYS needed “Professional pictures. The photographer set up this casting session, and they wanted you to spend a couple of hundred dollars on pictures that are NOT needed. 1) If your child has talent to model or act, the AGENT will pay for the 8 x 10 b/w glossies. That is what their 15% goes for. They spring for the pictures and submit you for jobs, if they think your child is going to make them $. 2) YOU SHOULD N E V E R HAVE TO PAY UP FRONT TO HAVE SOMEONE REPRESENT YOU OR YOUR CHILD….. NEVER!!!!
