Where can I receive approved courses for the annual re-certification requirement?
Completion of state sponsored courses such as the Georgia Fire Academy, National Fire Academy, and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency, (and other state and national agencies), are approved for the continuing educational hours. If approved, the department as well as other departments throughout Georgia may use in-service course(s) for re-certification requirements.
