You can read free comics here:
Free Comics

And you can read manga here:
One Manga

You could also always just go to the book store and read some–then you might decide to buy ;-D

I absolutely hate it when people say go buy it or find it at the library. It’s an online post.

Obviously we do not want to spend the money in this time of economic distress.
Besides, hardly any book stores have random comics lying around.
You would need to go to a comic book store, and there you can purchase what you need.
And if you couldn’t find it there, as a specialty store they would be sure to find it for you.

Libraries hardly ever have a decent graphic novel section.

Now as comprehensive *cough* http://www.lorencollins.net/freecomic/ is…
And because anyone that says comics would probably be asking for manga at http://www.onemanga.com/….*cough*

I use htmlcomics.com

The site is large and growing everyday.
I always find whatever I’m looking for…except Ultimate X-Men volume 5. I never purchased #437. She Lies with Angels was a beautiful homage to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
The feud between the Guthries and the Cabots was designed to parallel the feud between the Montagues and Capulets, respectively, had an interesting twist because of the Guthrie family’s tendency toward mutations. That lead to the conflict of we hate the freaks vs. we are the freaks and we never liked you anyway. Though this story is evermore tragic because, unlike Romeo, Jay survived his suicide attempt. He calls himself "Icarus" to show how far he has fallen- referencing the Greek Mythology Icarus who fell after flying to close to the sun. Romantic…Shakespeare, Bible, and Greek Mythology. The story was rich in the popular allusions made in modern literature.

My rant for the day. Enjoy the site!
