I have bought Red Sox tickets over eBay and Stubhub. Stubhub has features on its site to make it clear where the seats are. With eBay you are on your own. If the tickets are not valid with Stubhub, you get your money back as all sellers have to register a credit card when they sign up. On eBay you supposedly get your money back, but there is a whole grievance process. If you do buy on ebay, check the reviews of the seller. While most of baseball has signed an agreement with Stubhub, the Red Sox have chosen Ace Tickets. I have never used them, but they are the official Red Sox reseller.
