Really depends how old you are. If you’re over 18, then it has to be Second Life. You can do anything you want in Second Life, but by far, the most popular activity there is dating and romance. You have an avatar and it is possible to make her very life-like. There are guys there who have done the same with their avatars. You can buy cool clothes, shoes jewellery and hair. Then you can go to clubs with real DJs and dance and meet prospective partners. You can buy land and build a house and you can get married (not legally binding in real life) and you and your partner can live together. And yes – your avatars can even have sex. There is a version for under 18s too, but I have no idea what it’s like or how much it is toned down. Best of all, it’s free to join, download and play. The client software is very quick and easy to download and install. The most difficult thing is to find a name and password that hasn’t already been taken.
