Where can I play in a Band or Woodwind Group ?
It will not be long before you will be ready to play with other musicians indeed your lesson will often be in a group with other children. Your teacher will advise you on when to apply for membership of an Ensemble (a posh word for a group of musicians who play together). This may be at your school or may be one of the County Ensembles that often rehearse on Saturdays. The Schools` Music service also run a series of workshops for various instruments throughout the year.
