A.Free compost and woodchips are available outside the Elkhart Environmental Center’s silver gate on a first come, first serve basis. They are available Saturday and Sunday from dawn to dusk, and weekdays by chance (area is open when staff is on site). The materials are strictly for homeowners and you must load them yourself. Please bring your own pitchforks, shovels, etc. Q.
