Where can I obtain information about the market share of homes in the United States which have brick veneer, or other building materials?
The NAHB Research Center collects these data through the Builder Practices Surveys, a comprehensive annual survey with thousands of builders across the United States. Besides information on brick, this survey captures information on all the major building components used for residential construction. In 2001, 20% of all new finish material was brick. Information about a comprehensive report concerning all siding products by regions (along with pricing) and other available Builder Practice Reports can be found at the NAHB Research Center.
