Applications for Concealed Handgun Permits can be downloaded from the Virginia State Police website. After completing the application, it must be submitted to the Clerk of the Circuit Court in the city or county where you reside. You will need to provide proof that you have completed a state approved firearms course, or other firearms training experience, such as your DD214 if you are a military veteran, a Virginia Hunter Education Certificate, or are an active / previous law enforcement officer.
