Where can I obtain a list of endangered species of plants, animals and insects in Hawai`i?
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service web site (http://endangered.fws.gov/r1spndx.html) lists endangered species in Pacific Region 1, which includes Hawai`i and other western states. Or call the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Pacific Islands Ecoregion, at 541-3441. If you don’t have access to the Internet at home, work or school, you can get into that web site using the Internet computer at your local public library.
