Let’s be careful here now!!! The “Basic Firearms Course Manual” is a Police Training Commission (PTC) document intended to be used for police academy firearms training only. If you are looking information for in-service firearms qualification you want the Attorney General’s Firearms Qualification and Requalification Standards for New Jersey Law Enforcement (see the question directly above). The PTC’s “Basic Firearm Course Manual” may be obtained by going to the PTC’s web site, www.njptc.org and clicking on the “Basic Firearms Course” tab.
