Hi Shannon: I’d like to better understand what kind of product you wish to package, because you may find more flexibility if you are willing to look beyond PET. Tooling for PET containers tends to be expensive because, for bottles, the process usually involves injection molding or a preform, followed by blow molding the preform into the container. Unless you’re looking for something custom, you may find this at odds with your desire for uniqueness and progressiveness. You may find that glass will provide more alternatives from stock tooling (so you don’t have to pay for molds), though you probably would have to consider Europe (e.g., Italy) to find some interesting forms.
