It was maintained from the software’s early development in 1998 or so until late 2000. We’ll probably make some better container for this eventually, and/or include more of the maps that are in the database we exported it from*. There are hundreds of newer features that are not included in it, and some aspects of the design have changed since 2000 but are not reflected in this document. Still, though, it can give people a good understanding of what we were trying to achieve in the early development, and much of what needs to be preserved as the tool expands.
