I know for example Sixt have Smarts available and for the larger ones (Sixt, Avis, Hertz etc) you can go online and check Here is a link (in English) to the yellow pages (business directlory) already detailed with car hire in the Hague (Den Haag). You can see all the companies here and if you click on each then you get more details – e.g. telephone numbers, adresses & websites http://yellowpages.goudengids.nl/search/… Good luck EDIT – then I would seriously suggest you look at buying a car if you are living here for longer than 6 months. The second hand car market is quite reasonable. If you know something about cars then you can buy from person to person and save a considerable amount of money (e.g. www.marktplaats.nl and then go to Autos) and if not then buy from a local small garage and make sure the car has a full year MOT (called APK over here).
