Where can I learn how to play a side drum, online or college or where?
Plyaed drums in a youthIt depends how old you are. You may be able to get drum lessons at school. There should be a local drumming teacher serving local schools and doing some private lessons thoughthere are some pretty good books serving different drumming styles. I’d advise you visit a music shop, one that specialises in drums if possible and buy a drummer’s practice pad and a pair of sticks that feels right for you. I seem to remember I played size 5D sticks when I was a pro drummer but I was knocking 7 bells out of the drums. 5As might be too light for you. It depends on your age, strength of your wrists, size of your hands etc. With the practice pad, you can practice on a pretty good and responsive surface quietly though you won’t get the nuances of a real side drum.
