Where can I learn about the characteristics and qualities of an Arabian Horse?

0

The Australian Arabian Horse Society website (www.ahsa.asn.au ) has a downloadable version of “The Arabian Horse – Standard of Excellence” which is used as a breed standard in New Zealand. These books are also available from the NZAHBS office free of charge. Why do I have to complete annual Mare and Stallion Returns? Information on Mare and Stallion returns (of purebred Arabians) is required to ensure foals can be registered. This information is loaded onto the Society’s computer and providing all information is correct, fees have been paid and all other registration requirements have been complied with, a Registration Certificate will be issued and the horse will be recorded in the NZAHBS Stud Book. Mare and Stallion Returns are not required for Partbred or Anglo Arab Mares or Stallions.
