Where can I learn about quantitative analysis (Finance) online?
I am going to scare, but I don’t mean to do it on purpose. 1) If you want to do quantitative analysis in the quant sense then you need to start learning math. For example I am an engineer and thus the quant’s math is not a big deal and I just needed to brush up on stuff. If you do not have any of these credentials then you are going to have a BIG problem. It is not that you cannot learn it, but you need to learn the basics. 2) You need to understand statistics, probability, combinatorics, and basic maths (calculus, algebra at the university level. 3) You need to understand the time value of money and what money is. For example, do you understand the velocity of money? Now to answer your question can you learn this online? Absolutely not! Whatever you find online are bits, bobs and assumes that you know points 1, 2, and 3.
