Where can I learn about all the different types of churches and religions?
Why not check out the phone book under the yellow pages-churches-and find out when their services are and go? You will then learn all about their religions and many others, but you really need to get out and speak face to face to people to learn just what their religion is all about. I am taking a college course-World Religions-and one of the assignments is that I have to do six seperate five hundred word essays on different religions. These have to be personal experiences. Since I am a Methodist I can not go to the Baptist, Lutheran, or Presbyterian do to the fact they are why too much alike. I have gone to a Jewish, Pentacostal, Christian Hebrews, Catholic and Christian Science. Wow! You learn soooo much. It has been a great experience for my nine year old daughter, too!!
