Where can I go to learn to French polishing? Are there any schools that teach the art of French polishing?
Up until a short time ago (1997), there was a school known as the American School of Luthiery which provided a class strictly for students that wanted to learn French polishing. The class was taught using a “hands-on” teaching technique by America’s foremost french polishing expert Eugene Clark.. We would suggest that you contact Todd Taggart of Allied Luthiery.
